Hi, I'm Katie

If you've ever felt like your body has become something you hate, or something you have to fight, I want you to know you're not alone.

Maybe you've tried diet after diet. You may have pushed through workouts, counted calories, taken supplements, or searched for answers to chronic pain and inflammation. If you're like most people I work with,  you've been told to simply "eat less and move more" and that your pain is something you'll just have to live with.

It's exhausting.

I get it.

I spent years studying health and human behavior. I earned a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology and psychology and a master's degree in public health because I wanted to understand how the body works and how people can truly heal.

But despite all that knowledge, I still struggled.

I dealt with chronic pain, stress, and the frustrating cycle of knowing exactly what I should do for my health but struggling to do it consistently. I still skipped workouts, and I reached for sugar when life felt overwhelming. I wondered why, if I knew so much about health, I couldn't simply "have more discipline."

I kept looking for new programs and ways to get motivated.

I eventually realized there wasn't something wrong with me.

There is something big missing from the conversation around women's health.

For years, we've been taught that health is simply about willpower. Eat better. Exercise more. Push through. Ignore your emotions. Fight your body into submission.

But our bodies don't work that way.

The more I learned about pain science, the nervous system, stress physiology, emotional health, and the mind-body connection, the more everything began to make sense.

I realized that those things I hated about myself - the sugar addiction, the fatigue when I needed to do a workout, constant tightness in my low back, and the nagging headaches...

They were trying to protect me.

The same nervous system that can create chronic muscle tension and persistent pain can also influence our cravings, motivation, energy, inflammation, and ability to make healthy choices.

When we're stuck in survival mode, it becomes incredibly difficult to feel motivated to care for ourselves the way we want to.

Healing and weight loss aren't about becoming more disciplined.

They come down to creating safety, trust, and compassion within your body so healthy choices become easier instead of harder. You can reprogram your brain to stop persistent systems and sugar cravings.

Watching people I love struggle with chronic pain and illness reinforced this belief. I saw firsthand that pain doesn't just affect one person. Pain affects families, relationships, careers, and the ability to enjoy life's simple moments.

That's why I do this work.

Today, I help women who are tired of fighting their bodies.

Women who want to lose weight without shame and restriction.

Women who want to decrease pain and inflammation.

Women who are exhausted from starting over every Monday.

Women who want to trust themselves again.

My approach combines evidence-based nutrition and movement with pain science, nervous system regulation, somatic practices, emotional healing, and behavior change. Rather than focusing on quick fixes, I help women understand why they're stuck and create sustainable habits that support both physical and emotional health.

I believe you deserve to feel strong.

You deserve to enjoy food without guilt.

And that you can learn to exercise in a way that helps you feel alive, not punished.

Your body is communicating with you, not working against you.

And I believe it's possible to heal your relationship with your body at any age.

If you're here because you're tired of chronic pain, emotional eating, inflammation, stress, or feeling like you've failed every health program you've ever tried, I want you to know something:

You're not lazy.

You're not broken.

And you don't need more willpower.

You need an approach that works with your body instead of against it.

I'd be honored to help.

If you've read this far, there's a good chance that part of my story feels familiar.

I'd love to hear yours.

Whether you're looking to reduce pain, lose weight, improve your relationship with food, or simply feel more at home in your body, we can talk about your goals and see if we're a good fit to work together.
