For years, I did everything “right.” I was trained in exercise and nutrition, but still found myself stuck in cycles of yo-yo dieting and chronic pain.
At one point, even sneezing could trigger back spasms that lasted for days. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to take care of my three kids on my own. I kept trying to fix it with more discipline, better workouts, better food, but nothing truly lasted.
I started to believe my body was broken and I would live a life of chronic pain. What I eventually learned changed everything.
My body was stuck in a stress and survival pattern that no diet or exercise plan could fix.
When I discovered the neuroscience of pain and somatic healing, things began to shift: my pain, my relationship with food, and the way I understood my body.
